Excellent service – highly recommend

Excellent service from James and his team. Firstly, he provided a quotation very quickly, which was significantly better than anyone else (and we’d had quite a few!) They turned up as agreed and on time, worked extremely hard, and cleared everything away afterwards. James also did a few extra bits for us, without hesitation or additional cost. Very professional, courteous and friendly. Would definitely use again and highly recommend.

A Great Day’s Work.

James & his assistant did an excellent job removing 2 large shrubs that hadn’t survived last winter. They then repainted 24 badly faded fence panels, working extremely hard for the rest of the day & into the early evening. The fencing now looks like new and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will certainly use their services again.

Great service for tree removal

Just had great service from James and his team. Removed 20 foot conifer and roots, ground out trunk and removed all debris. Very efficient and professional, did everything we had agreed. Price was very reasonable. Would definitely go back to him for any other garden services I needed.

James Watts returned my call the same day, agreed the work, cost and date for the work. Turned up on time and provided an excellent service of pruning 4 trees. All complete within 3 hours and tidied up and left the garden neat afterwards. Also cut up some logs for me. Very happy with the whole service and will use him again for future work.

Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and hard-working team

James and his team did a brilliant job of clearing the brook bank alongside my garden , cutting down trees and bushes and clearing lots of cut-offs. Everything taken away and they did a good job of tidying up after them. I would definitely use them again and I’m already in discussions for further work.

Very reliable garden services.

We’ve used James for three jobs now with complete satisfaction. He ground out a large hedge and built a fence. He prepared the ground for a new hedge in awful weather. He arrives on time, does what he quoted for and leaves the garden neater than before his visit.

James and his team came to our house to prune a big overgrown tree. They turned up earlier than we had originally planned as they were concerned that leaving it longer would have gone into the growing season. They were very professional and discussed the work fully before beginning the job. The work was completed to a very high standard, all offcuts were chipped and removed and the garden and paths were cleaned before they left. A fist class job. Many thanks James.

Tree lopping

James and his partner arrived on time this morning lopped a Silver birch and an Apple tree they did a great job and did not damage all my bulbs nice tidy job .

James responded promptly to my initial contact. He and his team were able to complete the job speedily in a most professional, courteous and efficient manner. They knew what they were doing and got on with the job clearing all the debris away when they had finished at the end of the job.

Garden work carried out in Quedgeley, Gloucester

James and his colleagues recently carried out garden work on both my front and back gardens, removing some box bushes that had been completely defoliated by the box tree caterpillars and trimming and shaping the shrubs and bushes that remained.

They were very efficient in the work that they carried out and cleared up everything before they left.

Would highly recommend for any garden work.

Di – very untidy hedge and overgrown trees

Very pleased with James and the team. Came in- got on with the job- very professional and knew what they were doing. Took all debris away and left area tidy. Hedge now very neat and would have them back to keep it like that. Have had bad experiences with rogue workers in the past- so this was a relief.

Extremely Pleased

I am really happy with work James recently completed for me. I needed a huge conifer shortened by about 4 metres. James advised on the options and gave an extremely competitive quote. He and his young apprentice Declan did an excellent job, including leaving everything looking very smart. From my initial enquiry to completion of the work I found James to be friendly, professional, reliable, hardworking and am happy to recommend him to anyone.

Outstanding service

James couldn’t have been more helpful. I live outside Bristol but he did a job for me at a rental property in Gloucester and nothing was too much trouble. As promised he sent me before and after photos of the job on the day the job was done. His price was excellent and I will have no doubts about using him again and recommending him to others

Excellent garden work – customer service could be better

I am giving this company a 1 star review on behalf of my 89-year-old mother. Although the two men in James’ team worked very hard on my mum’s back garden over two days in July 2021 (and did a good job), sadly James has let his team down by being unreliable and inconsiderate. He did not turn up when he said he would and he has not replied to my 3 telephone messages over the last 11 days. He was supposed to call at my mum’s house on Thursday 19 August but did not turn up despite me leaving a reminder on his mobile 40 minutes prior to his arrival. (He asked me to do this – which I thought was unprofessional.) We have not heard from him or seen him since. We will not use him again or recommend his company.
Update: since James now says he did call I am updating to a 4 star review as his men were hard-working, polite, helpful and exceeded their duties. However, it was unprofessional of James not to let mum know he had turned up. She needed to go out later but stayed in waiting and worrying.

A difficult task carried out with immense efficiency

Prompt and reliable. Good communication at every stage. Efficient service, successfully tackling a tricky job involving the removal of dense ivy and creeper off a 25 foot high cotswold stone wall. All rubbish removed leaving site clean.

I was dubious when he first quoted but he’s since been and done the job in question along with his colleagues and they was extremely thorough and you could see how much pride he takes in his work!! He also tidied up after himself and the pathways and pavement was completely clear which I thought I might have to do myself.

Tree and hedge work

Very pleased with the work James and his team have done for us. They took down a large branch from a Portugal Laurel, cut back and tidied up an overgrown hedge and cleared away some general garden rubbish. It was all done to a very high standard and they left the garden very clean and tidy afterwards. Would happily recommend them to others.

Tree Removal and reducing conifer hedging

Would highly recommend James and his team. Brilliant professional, fast and efficient service. Worked with all health and safety measures in place, top quality equipment and leaves site clean and tidy. Our son used James to remove a very large conifer tree. He had received some extortionate quotes when James was recommended by a friend. The quote from James was excellent, the work carried out superb. We have just had James and team to remove a large Cherry Tree and reduce conifer hedging. Excellent work and a pleasure to have James and his team on our property. Would not consider any other firm to work on our trees and garden.
